Topeka Golf Association Congratulates Gary Woodland for his Houston Open Victory
Gary Woodland won the Houston Open on Sunday, an emotional moment that seemed so improbable 30 months ago when he had brain surgery, and even two weeks ago when he opened up about his frightening experience with post-traumatic stress disorder. He closed with a 3-under 67 to win by five shots over Nicolai Hojgaard.

With a handful of past Topeka Golf Association champions in the hunt for the City Two-Man Best Ball/Scramble title on Sunday, a couple new faces stepped up and joined the ranks of city TGA champions.
